ENCOUNTER College Ministry: (SUMMER 2017) [June 4- August 27]

  • College Group: Sundays, 12-2pm. See you in the Undergrounds Cafe for lunch, life, and learning to do life Gods way.
  • Summer Socials: Sundays, 7-9pm, E001. Join us for some summer shenanigans! Some will be on campus, others around town. Some will be chill, others will be adventurous.

Sunday, June 4th from 6:00pm-9:00 pm at RDFC
Several of the Friends College Groups are coming together for a meal, worship, bible teaching, and meaningful conversations.

LIFEHACKS Life is hard. Sometimes you need a hack.
In this series through the book of 1 Peter, we will explore God’s life hacks on how to make the difficulties and complexities of life less daunting. And in the process we might just come to understand what really matters. Because if anyone knows how to hack life, it’s God.

    Hanging out at the park, listening to some good music, and playing some  sand volleyball. Sounds like the beginning of another beautiful SoCal summer.
  • Sunday, May 28- COLLEGE ORIENTATION, 6-8pm, Dinner and Game night. Jason’s House.
    A chill time to get to know the incoming college freshmen, help them get to us, and share with them all things Encounter!

    Friends Unite is a gathering of area Friends College groups. We share a meal, a time of worship… and then it will probably digress to full contact Bunko! You know how we do…
  • Sunday, June 11- WACOBALL & 12’ BANANA SPLIT 7-9pm, RDF Ball Field.
    Not sure what Wacoball is? Its like playing baseball… only with a tennis ball instead of a baseball, and a tennis racket instead of a bat…the 12’ Banana Split  speaks for itself.
