Discovering Rose Drive A new format for the class previously known as Pastor’s Class will be held Sunday, February 26, from 12:15-2:15 p.m. in E110. We will offer our Discovering Rose Drive Class regularly as an opportunity not only to become a member but also to learn more about the vision, values, history, and ministries of RDFC. Interested? Our Church Pantry is in need of canned fruit, tuna, spaghetti noodles and other pasta, rice, and jams/jellies. Food is given to people who visit the church office asking for assistance. Please leave donations on the church patio on Sunday mornings or in the church office during the week.

Prayer Link In addition to our current phone prayer chain, we now have email or text prayer updates. Go to rdf.org to sign up to get prayer updates through either email or text messages. Scroll down on the left side to the “Join Our Prayer Chain” link. On the next page you will be asked for the user name and password (please call the church office for those). On the next screen, you will have the option of reading the Early Christians prayer requests or joining the prayer chain. Click on the “email” or “text” link and follow the instructions. The Sanctity of Life Prayer Group meets on the second Sunday of each month from 10:15-10:45 a.m. in D207. Please join us for a half hour of prayer.

Volunteers needed at Charity’s Closet Charity’s Closet is an upscale thrift shop in downtown Placentia. The Closet is operated entirely by volunteers and all profits are used to support H.I.S. House, the homeless intervention shelter in Placentia. Volunteers are needed for accepting and sorting donations and for sales personnel. If you have a few hours a week for a vital ministry in our community, please call the Closet (714.993.4687) or Judy Samson (714.524.1424).

Food Ministry Help Needed. Volunteers are needed to do food pickup at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at a local supermarket. The food is used to support HIS House and needy families in the church. For details, call Eldon at 714.524.1009.
Weekly Prayer Gathering Please join us for prayer in the Center Building, Room E110, Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Corrie ten Boom once said, “Prayer is the steering wheel, not the spare tire.” Our time is spent praying for the ministries of Rose Drive. Our goal is to help form a church where prayer is the steering wheel. Join us Monday evenings whenever your schedule allows.
