Family Information:
The Clines have 3 children: Rheanna (20), Riley (17), and Raylin (13). The kids attend the Alliance Academy International School in Quito.
Background:
Russ & Gina Cline moved to Quito, Ecuador, in 1994 to launch Youth World International. They met at Azusa Pacific University, where they both
studied, then they youth pastored in Southern California for 9 years prior to moving to Ecuador. Russ served as the team leader of Youth World for 11½ years, and is now in transition as Brad Miller has accepted the new role of Team Leader in Ecuador.
Russ currently serves on the Management Team of Youth World, and directs Leader Mundial, a ministry area that focuses on networking, training, and equipping leaders around the world. Gina helps with a number of special projects in the ministry, as well as supports Russ in his role.
Leader Mundial is in the process of "spinning out" of Youth World. Leader Mundial will be an independent 501(c)3 organization that focuses its energy into the mentoring and development of emerging leaders in different parts of the world. Leader Mundial will continue to partner with Youth World and International Teams in equipping selected leaders from both of these organizations.
Russ and Gina also serve on the board of Extreme Response, an international humanitarian organization committed to helping people around the world with "no help, no hope, and no home." Extreme Response grew out of the work we were doing in the Quito City Dump, and has now grown to include over 18 projects around the world.
