Background:
Debbie came to know Christ as a child; Doug as a junior in high school. Doug and Debbie found each other at the college group at Rose Drive, while Doug was on staff working with junior high students. Doug served as Junior High Pastor from 1974-1980 and then Associate Pastor of Student Ministries for ten more years. Doug and Debbie were married at RDFC in 1979.
In 1990 the Lord led the Clarks, with Betsy and newborn Ian, to leave Yorba Linda and join the national staff of the National Network of Youth Ministries as Director of Field Ministries. Besides working with Network leaders around the world, Doug helps coordinate the promotion of See You at the Pole, a National Day of Student Prayer on the third Wednesday of September each year. One of their primary visions for ministry is to see our youth lead the way for our nation into a moral and spiritual awakening through a radical commitment to prayer, and see a cooperative effort that will expose every teenager to the gospel, help them find a place in Christ's Church, and send them out to help fulfill the Great Commission in this generation.
The Clarks live in San Diego.
